Shouldnt there be a Demo version for this game?

I mean, yeah, there is already a pirated copy of this but its more formal if we handed out some demo of the last build with limited function or limited days as restrictions. What do you think?

RimWorld isn't exactly a game you can just demo and honestly it never truly will be...

"NEW RIMWORLD DEMO, YOU CAN'T BUILD SOLAR GENS OR THERMO'S!"

"Welcome to the RimWorld Demo, the 200 man raider team will arrive on day 70 and if you survive you get a coupon code for half off!"

"RimWorld, a space colony survival game that feels like a sliced Dwarf Fortress, but you can't experience any of that because you can only play to day 12 before the game shuts down."

A demo would work for any game BUT a colony game friend. You can't just cut down a colony game and let people test it before they want to buy it. Colony games are a special niche type of game and one that a person can easily look at and decide how bad they want it. Sure people are pirating it somewhat but the majority of people that want RimWorld right now have gotten it through purchasing over piracy.
Ugh... I have SO MANY MESSES TO CLEAN UP. Oh also I slap people around who work on mods <3

I'm just gonna lock this because the discussion is a dead end. There won't be a demo, for some of the reasons Ramsis explains, and others besides. YouTube videos show the game off quite well, I think.
