[MOD] (Alpha 4f) Tiberium

Description:
A mod incorporating tiberium from Command and Conquer™ as a harmful and useful substance.

Planned Features:

Functioning Tiberium
Harvesting Tiberium
Tiberium Countermeasures (stopping growth)
Weaponizing Tiberuim

Progress and issues:
progress:

started work on a custom assembly to start on features not doable by xml
very basic implementation via plants , spawns on map and grows
early artwork , improved as of 7/1/2014

issues:

an issue using components on the plant class for making them glow, need assembly to mod this

To make them glow properly you will need to resort to making a custom dll

There was a tiberium mod that never made it out of the testers forums due to copy right reasons I think, but it'll be interesting to see another take on the tiberium stuff.

Maybe you use another name that evokes the same thing. I suggest Tynanium.

Personally they look too bright, That image hurt my eyes, I suggest darkening it a bit

The issue was that it got made to appear in a mod showcase video of alpha 3, but the copy right issues of featuring it with such obvious links to C & C meant that Tynan was wary of including it. Then Darker just left and the mod never made it off of the tester page, much like his shield mod that got recovered from there a little while ago.

Yes! That's why I suggest Tynanium. Why can't we have this in game? Maybe the metal can be renamed as such?

The issue now, is that EA owns the rights, and EA is psycho. Also ruined the franchise, have you SEEN how 4 plays? It figures though, I wonder why the only good game EA ever had was about it's future. *cough* Syndicate *cough* Eurocorp *cough* E A without the A spells Eurocorp *cough* *COUGH* *die*
