Need Help with Vanilla Vehicles expanded mod

I don't know where to ask this question and where to get help, so I'll post here. I constructed a vehicle and went to a point on the world map, but once I got there, I couldn't get out of the vehicle, go to the world tile that I wanted, refuel the car, or separate the car from the caravan at all. What can I do?
