Texture crash when placing metal wall in god mode

I had that happen on my Windows 7 machine. Also in god mode and had been for a while. I was placing multiple new colonists when it triggered. I noticed that graphics were displayed normally whenever I paused.

I didn't report it because I'd been screwing around with the dev tools which to my mind is the same thing as typing random gibberish into the console in Skyrim. It's fun but not being used as intended. I was so sad to lose my golden palace.

The dev tools are mainly meant for diagnosing bugs and as such are quite capable of producing their own when used extensively, as they are not bound by the same restrictions that apply to building during normal gameplay.
