Make biotic eyes more available in trade ships because for some reason in this game half the chars are old enough to predate sin and everyone has cataracts

Also, why is everyone so OLD!
I mean the average age in this game is like 50

Considering that everyone had to first be old enough to qualify for being on the ship and second be old enough to wake up from cryptosleep to be jettisoned out, well yeah there's your age. Consider that and the idea that futuristic medicine probably makes the new 'old' somewhere in the 75's -- hell, a present day newborn has a life expectancy of 150 years. Look at the tribes, they tend to have extremely young people in their midst.

In truth, even without mods, I've had very few instances where I had more than a couple people with cataracts, and even then, exotic goods dealers almost always have one prosthetic or another. Bionic Eyes are about as common as cataracts. Maybe you just have some bad luck? Give them a melee weapon or an office job and let them relax in their old age.
