I don't get it...

I thought this was a stasis pod, to drop my PITA colonists into until I could deal with them....

Now I realize I can't pull any of my colonists out... what exactly is the point of these?  Anybody?

You can remove a colonist from a cryptosleep casket by selecting another colonist and right clicking on the casket.

Ah, so unless the theme is "cryocasket is hungry, must eat", this is a bug I suppose, lack of controls?

You used to be able to remove colonists from pods by pushing a button, but Tynan made it so that only people could remove other people from pods, presumably because it breaks the central idea of the game if you can store and remove all your colonists at will. One colonist always has to be on the outside.

Oh....

I thought you were saying that somebody had to *replace* the colonist who was inside.

The interface for the caskets isn't exactly.... well present, nor clear.

My sick guy got hauled to to the casket, I have absolutely no idea why though.

There's an option for taking incapacitated colonists to a casket when you would normally right click on them to have them rescued. You may have ordered it without knowing. The interface is definitely still in an unpolished state at this point.

Entirely...  I think occupants in the cryosleep should reset (in terms of mood), to a groggy/sick state once they're knocked out (so the spaz's can be reset basically, at the penalty of becoming sick/miserable, but not suicidal at least).
