plant pots

ok so i've got plant pots in my colonists rooms and they weren't growing anything in them so i thought maybe not enough light/heat but after checking everything seemed to be fine.
then went and put a couple in my building i use for winter cropping just to test them. this room is kept at 20C and has full sun lamp coverage. still no growing.

anyone else got this ?

Colonists with Growing as a job will (rarely) come and put plants in the pots. The plants will grow/live for a few days (In normal light, no need for sun lamps).

I think that actual growing (Crops/hydroponics) has a higher importance then plant pots, so colonists rarely ever get to pots.
