Since i build a Communicator in the game there are no trade ships at all.
It was on of my first games and i need a very long time to build a communication console. But now there a no spaceships for a very long time (about 10 rl hours)

What AI are you using ?
Can you post a savegame and possibly even the output_log.txt file ?

The latest version is 254 and fixes that, among others. It should be in your mail.
