Ship to Send the people you put in it in another World

So i built the ship and put people in it (8)… but is it possible to send the people you put in it to another world and play on that world? If not that would be a GREAT feature to add.

Currently when you send them in to space they die (systemwise).
And nothing else happens (currently). In the suggestion forum travel and recolonization is mentioned several time. Search on the topic there and it might give you an idéa or two.
