Well if been testing the tool the past days and added "select similar" to my list of parts I'll use constantly. However: I only got the haul+ worktype, the haul+ tool and the select similar tool activated and I stil can rightclick the select similar tool and select the whole map.
I got my problems figuring out all the meanings of the different options since I'm german but as far as I understand thats an option I can disable (wich I have). So it actually shouldn't show.

And I noticed my guy are now hauling perishables before anything else. Since I got no other mod that alters work related stuff I guess it must be a feature of allow tool?

1.17j/1.17k? I'm confuse. What's the difference?!

Well thanks alot for the quick reply. As a token of my appreciation I translated it into german.

Does "More Trait Slots" play well with "psychology"? I wrecked my colony and wanted to start new with those two mods.

It seems that DIN-7157 tells you what sort of hole you got to drill for a specific purpose...
You gotta love us germans!

Great mods!
Why is the "AcEnhancedCrafting.dll" not in assemblies? (JTExport) Do I have to worry about that? Probably not I guess, its just something I'm ot used to.

Tools / Re: [A17] Moddable (Tool for Modders)

I have no idea about xml or anything, but I saw the word "balloons"! And I guess something  that grants people easier access to the games files is always a good thing. Hope to see a balloons mod soon.

Well I did some lowskill patch mods for kerbal spaceprogram. And there you had to provide a license to release anything, even a patch thats just a few words cramped in two lines of a txt file.
And they didn't even bother with steam workshop, wich is a good thing I guess, but thats totally my opinion.

And to get back on topic:
I guess the server deletes attachments after a while to not get cluttered with all those files.

my experence with mods has been good and i know that the workshop for mods is fine and the forum mods are almost imeadtly donloaded and if there ever was any virus it would be found very quickly and the modmaker would get the attention of the forum modderators very quickly be fxed or taken down, and if you are not sure just read though the comments, any known issues can be found there.
I wasn't even half serious^^ I am actually using his "configurable maps" mod.

Edit: Maybe sarkasm as a non-native speaker wasn't the best idea. So to prevent people form thinking all the wrong thing I want to clearify that dburgdorf makes awsome mods and is trustworthy.

Next to "new game" should be "review old game".
Shows you the stats of your past games:
-storyteller
-difficulty
-who made it
-how long did you take
-wealth accumulated
-The "records" tabs of your colonists
-the stories of art and coffins
-etc.
-dev mode activations....^^

THIS WOULD BE AMAZING!

I would've loved to have Z-levels, but my CPU understands the decision.

^Thats a good one.

Wall in your base on hard difficulties. (I don't mean traps and turret spam).
A simple wall arround your base keeps off manhunter packs. I usually don't build doors and rather leave a gap inside the wall (for the raider ai).
A stockpile with 75 wood right next ot the gap ensures you can insert a door/wall the second those 10 elephants spawn.

Well I saw people complaining about that too, but to be serious: I always wondered why a link to a github repo (or similar) isn't a prerequisite for a mod release. A propper release HAS to include a license, a source, a readme and the mod!
All that "grab my mod in the attachment without the ability to see the source or a license" is nonsence. Also the steamworkshop is cancer. Everybody can claim anything and just upload it to steam.

In general every "release" without a propper source and license should be deleted instantly. And steam should be moderated harder. All those "reuploads" and stuff that doesnt provide a single link to what it actually is... thats just nonsence.

Set the radius of your stoves to the smallest possible and place 1x1 stockpiles for veggies and meat next to the stove. So you cook wont stand up, get 10 meat out of the fridge, cook it and repeat it all the time. Now he will fill up the meat stockpile, cook it and then fill the whole stack up IF nobody allready did it in the meantime.
PS: Priority of 1x1 stockpiles must be higher than the priority of the fridge.

In the A18 patch, the problem of late game slow seems to be  getting better.

Because lategame lag only happens with this stockpile bug and not because of 1091ß247073257643298 social relations.
