Releases / Re: [1.0] [ADDON] Gloomy Extra (13-05-2019)
October 13, 2019, 04:51:37 PM
Updated. Couple of days ago actually but hey..

Also there wont be a big content update for gloomy extra. Instead part of the content can be found in Gloomy Vanilla Overhaul right now!
The rest of it will be a separate mod made by Zymex. I don't have that much time these days so I'm happy Zymex came along and is willing to put in some effort. I'll helping him a bit here and there so it shouldn't be to long before release.

Now if only there was varients of the other vanilla bench's

You mean the 2x1 bench without a back rest? That's not a bad idea.
Anyway there is a reason I've reserved 3 posts and why the title says Gloomy Extra and not Gloomy Extra - Kitchen.
Oh spoilers..

Gloomy Extra - Kitchen

Add-on for Gloomy Furniture
Requires Gloomy Furniture.

This is a fan-made add-on
While I spend a fair amount of time making these sprites, all credits go to the original devs (Gloomylynx and NukaFrog).

Features
- Small Butcher table - 2x1 replaces vanilla butcher table. Found in Production
- Electric Stove - A new texture for the electric stove.
- Sink - Boost production, increases cleanliness of connected worktable and room.
(Works with Dubs Bad Hygiene if installed and enabled)
- Butcher shelf - Wall mounted. Boost production, increases cleanliness.
- Cupboard A - Wall mounted.  Boost production, increases cleanliness.
(Connection gets blocked by the wall in some spots. Working on a solution)
- Cupboard B and C - Boost production, increases cleanliness.
Different east/west textures for better connection. It's not perfect but it's something.
- Kitchen Floor - A tiled kitchen floor made from blocks or steel.
- Corners for Cupboards - Corner pieces to make everything fit nice.

Load order
- Gloomy Furniture
- Gloomy Vanilla (optional)
- Dubs Bad Hygiene (optional)
- Bad Hygiene Lite (optional)

- Gloomy Extra

Gloomy Vanilla Beta Patch
Added a patch for Gloomy Vanilla.
Gloomy Extra items are not changed or balanced with with Gloomy vanilla.
It just takes care of some errors and moves some items to a different categorie.

Dubs Bad Hygiene & Bad Hygiene Lite
The Gloomy Kitchen sink is now detected by Dubs Bad Hygiene thanks to Dubwise!
This should fix wrong load order problems and should be a more stable experience.
DBH functionality is automatically added to the sink if you install and enable DBH.

Note
This is my first release in a really long time and it may contain bugs and errors.
It should work fine with existing saves, but please keep this in mind when adding it to your game.

Please report any problems you may have and I'll try and fix them as soon as possible.

[1.0] Updated the texture to better match other furniture.

I did not update the ModSync version as of yet as i think i need to update some code with the newest RW version

That was fast! Thanks!

Can't delete blueprints in the 1.0 unstable version. This got to be a problem fast when i had some modded items it didn't like either. Not really game breaking but it would be nice to be able to delete the 10 useless blueprints.

The left click popup menu just doesn't work. Not showing up at all

The mirror works fine atm. Can be used and build.

I'm a big fan of more furniture stuff and especially if it has functionality. Love being able to customize my pawn in game!

The only thing that is bothering me is the colour. This is a problem a lot of mods have. They don't really match the vanilla colors or styles.
While your style fits in great the color is off enough to bother the heck out of me.

For example https://imgur.com/a/8f4iyMl

On the left side your granite version almost looks like slate. Especially with the marble wall behind it
The wooden one on the right doesn't look that bad but is still a lot darker then the rest.

Oh and that mirror looks like it belongs above the end table! Was that intended? Coz they look made for each other :D

Releases / Re: [1.0] Wall Light
June 29, 2018, 06:36:32 AM
I never liked the normal lamps to begin with and i feel the current cost for the wall light is fine.
Lamps / lights are just a small thing in the game. I think most people just want them to look nice and won't care much about balance. Maybe make it 10 power 10 steel but i don't see a need to add a component.

Nice mod btw! Simpel design makes it work with different base styles. Looks good in a wood cabin and a glittertech base.

Meh.

Tnx for the info  ;)

Sorry for being lazy and not looking it up myself but is there an easy way to get rid of the little wires that connect from the lights to the power conduits? I rly like this mod but i always end up laying hidden power conduits underneath the lights.

Hoping for an easy def fix?

Help / Re: Melee explosion?
January 16, 2017, 11:28:45 AM
That's what i've been trying but when change the <verbClass>Verb_MeleeAttack</verbClass> to <verbClass>Verb_Shoot</verbClass> I get an error message saying animal has not attack verb

When i try something like this it just ignores the ranged attack

    <verbs>
<li>
<verbClass>Verb_MeleeAttack</verbClass>
<defaultCooldownTime>1.65</defaultCooldownTime>
<meleeDamageBaseAmount>6</meleeDamageBaseAmount>
<meleeDamageDef>Scratch</meleeDamageDef>
<linkedBodyPartsGroup>FrontLeftPaw</linkedBodyPartsGroup>
</li>
<li>
<verbClass>Verb_Shoot</verbClass>
<hasStandardCommand>true</hasStandardCommand>
<projectileDef>Bullet_IncendiaryLauncher</projectileDef>
<ai_IsIncendiary>true</ai_IsIncendiary>
<warmupTime>3.0</warmupTime>
<range>24</range>
<burstShotCount>1</burstShotCount>
<soundCast>ShotIncendiaryLauncher</soundCast>
<soundCastTail>GunTail_Medium</soundCastTail>
<muzzleFlashScale>14</muzzleFlashScale>
</li>
</verbs>

I'm clearly missing the obvious here.
