also WTF?! I came here to point out that tynan had posted many times already and make fun of the people continuing this nonsense.
only to discover that the threads been taken over by a continuing sentence game when the hell did this happen?!

still joining in though don't get me wrong.

wish granted it works exactly as you wanted it to however the memory of each life you had before each reload you had to do begin to mix together in till you lose track of who you are and what you are doing and what is happening around you and appear to go mad to the outside world.

did that make any sense? I've been reading a book which explored a premise quite similar in ways which got me inspired for that corruption.


I wish for there to be significantly less house cats in the world.

today i lost my colony of 4(one who was my shooter his lover a brawler and animal handler linda who was 80 and basically couldn't fight but was a master crafter and scientist......and john who I started the scenario with who was a 73 years old bad ass with high stats in everything who got his spine destroyed so before the wipe out I was trying to research a way to give him a new one) because a sapper came found an un disturbed ancient danger practically sitting next to our open plan colony and then dug his way in and met cryosleepers in there and (somehow) convinced them to assault our colony then to cut a long story short it was a valiant defence from my pair of warriors and our pet wolf but the sheer amount of well armed bodies crushed them and linda then they started burning and destroying everything.....except john who I had to watch starve to death in his bed.

this has made me interested in seeing what's out there of which I'm sure there'll be plenty considering that a wipe is usually an emotionally painful thing to watch watching everything you've built be destroyed and/or watching the people you've fallen in love with die.
no rule here said wipe can be in the form of anything for any reason.

I like to role play in scenarios so I generally don't do it unless it fits the scenario in question.

not really but only because I have only the vaguest memories of my original 3 that was like alpha 15 I think back then the map was just a coloured blob but what I do remember is wishing that I could move about in the world like really badly.
and then I burnt out on the game and then when I came back it was alpha 17 and my wish had been granted (:

from what I hear its got nothing to do with balance and that having multiple high function bases  really taxes the cpu which is why your not allowed to by default.
but as asanbr said just go with it if you want also I don't think you need to do anything as dramatic as going into dev mode in the options there should simply be a slider controlling the amount of expansions you can make.
presuming were talking about multiple settlements here and im not barking up the completely wrong tree.

when you say exodus 2 do you mean a separate journey altogether or simply the continuation of lord knight and(what's left of) his servants?.

this makes me wonder how long a base that was fully automated(or as automated as can be in vanilla rimworld) would last if every person disappeared in such a way that left the base it self in pristine condition....might try this my self though I rarely have the staying power to make a base last that long I always delete my colony's for one reason or enougher and start fresh after a while.

I.....hu in one of my colony's one of my colonist got brain damage from shrapnel and halved all of his health functions if that colony hadn't got broken by one my mods uninstalling it self for no reason id experiment with this my self.

how's she doing now? is life going or on is she super dead.

my motto in life is 'it could be worse' for instance that ship could have landed directly on one or more of your colonists not that this has happened to me but I've seen peps share these kinds of events.

Seriously, the corruption are getting needlessly complicated and out of topic. Didn't you get the hint? I could have corrupted that wish on a single line with a hand tied in my back.

I don't really see how these granting's can go off topic when corrupting and making wishes is the whole point of this thread also long and delightfully convoluted wishes are more fun to write than short ones (at least for my self) and in the end that is what this threads for.

now to get this back on track.

I wish that kegereneku had made a wish and not upset the cycle.
