Has anyone ever tried real Absinthe? I'm getting a gift set for my birthday on October 30th, comes with the spoon and a cup and shit like that, along with a bottle.

Any notes on what I should expect? Does it taste horrible but get you pretty toasty?

I've had it, although it was a long while ago and I only had one drink. It's kinda bitter if I recall correctly, thus the burning sugar. It definitely didn't have the burn of other strong alcohols. If you're looking for the green fairy drink it slowly. If you get drunk you drank it too fast.

Thanks for the advice; I never knew that the ban on real Absinthe was lifted off the US in 2007, so I've been searching pretty hard for a bottle and a set up. Finally found it haha, so excited.

If you guys need any texturing/sprites done, hit me up. My forte is weapons/apparel, especially with camo patterns. Shoot me a message, I've done a bit of work around the forums I could show you.

Religion in general. Between talking snakes, galactic space daddies, "Arks" that are smaller than the Titanic but were supposedly carrying two of every animal in the world...

The list goes on. There's just something about religion that makes me cringe lol.
Agreed. Some of the logics is so rediculouse that I can't believe people believe in it.

Eh. Whatever floats your boat, surely (barely a pun). To me, religion is okay as long as it keeps you from killing each other. In my language, the word "religion" is translated to essentially mean "no chaos". I may not be as religious as my parents want me to be, but by God if I can use my religion to keep chaos out of my life, I shall.

I guess in the end it's not about religion, but morals.

Religion has cause the most deaths than anything else in the world; from Inquisitions, to "Holy" wars, to excuses to make war and everything in between, religion is a sickness on the world.

Attacking Glitterworld: I feel like a super-advanced society like this would be heavily bogged down in democracy or some other form of popular choice. I feel like an attack on Glitterworld would be met with a vote of how to respond to said threat, determining the amount of retribution and if any at all.

My personal opinion of Glitterworld is that they're not only highly advanced in technology, but in state of mind. I feel like they take advantage of their state of life and shit like that. Imagine being a highly advanced society like them: we'd still have outlets like video games and media and things along those lines.

Talking about the game = being a troll? Flawless logic lol.

But, I digress. I was just voicing my opinion; it's not like my opinion really changes anything.

I'm way too lazy to make a video just to show you guys you don't have to use exploits to have fun in this game lol. But, I digress. To each their own; exploits or power gaming.

After recently having a prolonged discussion with an acquaintance on the merits or lack there of regarding certain alcohol, I've been rather curious about people's favorite liquor all around.

My favorite liquor of all time us is hands down 1800 gold tequila or King Cobra 40 malt liquor (not because it's cheap, because I rather enjoy the taste lol)

So what's yours, and why? It can be a mixed drink or shot, too.

Well there's your problem, you're on the Minecraft forums lol. That's literately a worse community than say LoL or Dota 2.

X:Com has taught me the sense of pride you get for not save scumming! Haven't done it since.

With that kind of defeatism attitude; I've built and survived multiple "city-like" colonies that don't use kill boxes or cheap exploits to sustain myself. It's possible. It's just really annoying seeing people promote exploits as real game tactics.
