Can we have some sort of idea of how much time is needed to finish the new mod (a week, many weeks, months?) or simply know if it's at it's early stage or well in progress ?
Superior crafting was awesome. I hope I can see it reborn better than ever soon !

You simply need 5 crate, Au is for gold, Fe is for Steal

Interesting mod, but my colonist don't look to gain xp for crating chassi, command module, etc. (Might just be me, I just started using the mod)

So I was testing this wonderfull alpha 12 and discovered the slauther icon for tamed animal. That is interesting! I wonder what it does with those boomalope, hmmm let's test this on a smaller scale. So I tamed a Boomrat and got it slautered.
The afthermath was ... intersting!
Boomrat explode, suronding take on fire, colonist included!

The problem was more that the fire would continualy grow, and the colonist on fire would run in every direction. Nearby colonist send to help would have a really hard time to extinguish fire from him since he was running in panic all around. The colonist assigned to help the poor soul even kinda froze a few time when missing it's target :o .

Like i said, i don't know if it's intended, but if it's how fire work now, I have to reevaluate how dangerous can fire be now.

Alpha 10 released.

Ok... Tynan, you can't releash an alpha just like that ! We where getting used to wait a least 2 weeks of only "Misc bugfixes" in the change log ! This is too quick, I didn't have time to fill my hipe bar  ;D

I could not send colonist work on them no matter what (and yes they are not blocked from plant work).
With the new hotfix, it 1st happen with an old save but when i tried a new game it was still the same.
This is pretty major since my game is in the tundra  ;D

No mod where used

It would be nice to have better information about those stat when crafting (plus have the good one showing up), it's gonna be even more important with A9 where there's gonna be a quality level.

have half your colonist get malaria at the same time (3/6) when your out of medecine.
Oh wait, here is a combat suplier that always have them at a cheap price!
Oh sorry, just when you send someone to the com console, here is a crashed ship part that goes BOOM on your trade Beacon

-If I can afford the metal, red carpet is for work area, green for bedroom, blue for passage/road
-I build most of my base in a montain and the 1st room is always a 9x9 loby the serve as my dinning room
-I use the "create no roof region" button to look for big open area inside a mountain. If there is, its gonna be the location of my spaceship.
-The outdoor part of my base get an big attention on what is growing there: I usualy let only berry bush
-My designated cook is renamed Sanji  :)
-I dont like bateries, they discharge with balls of flame, if I can, I only use geothermal generator and micromanage the hell out of my electric output

My last colonie was "Mystery Lake" as there was a lake that was half into the mountain and a reference to a indie game named The long dark.
There was also "The pond"  wink at doctor who
It generaly inspired by local geographie and/or a reference to game/movie/book/etc. that i like

Well, there is already so much in alpha 7 that i think it can wait for later.
The worse it will do is to force us to get or colonist to get a bit of light from time to time. I usualy put a table outside as a "gathering spot" (and remove this from the table inside the colonie) so any idle colonist go to my entrance

You just made me think that i should probably do the same as I have so much fun with this game ... hmmm paying more then the basic game for any kickstart/early access/deluxe edition game would be a 1st for me !
