I think as a public performance it is not legally copywriteable, but that nobody has challenged the King estate on their financial milking of a piece of cultural history because they don't want to be seen as "bad guys". They aggressively use shitty tactics to remove high quality original recordings of MLK's speech from the internet, instead offering people the ability to buy a DVD of it from them, and they even charged around $800,000 to the builders of a memorial to Martin Luther King to use his likeness and words.

Isn't that a bad thing? My suggestion would be that sniper rifles get more accurate on longer distances like in X-COM, because thats what they made for and it would add a new tactical opportunity in charging snipers.

I agree. Please, Tynan, I hope you mean sniper weapons are worse at close range instead...

Sniper rifles do get less accurate at longer distances though. I believe them being highly inaccurate at touch range, very accurate at short and medium, and less accurate at long range would be best. A long range weapon that is very accurate would be too OP and unrealistic.

Edit: I accidentally wrote my comment up in the quote box so it looked like I was just quoting people and not saying anything :(

I do hope visiting other places ultimately gets added. At the moment though without more primitive technologies(like a fire pit to cook food) visiting the tribals would be awkward as they would either be eating raw food or using electricity.

You're not missing something obvious, this is a pain. It also doesn't help that while your drawing a zone you cannot see the orbital trade beacon area. If an automatic zone is made for the orbital trade beacon then you could also make automatic zones for other things, such as tables creating automatic zones for food. Although tables are easy to make zones for.

I don't know if the terrain has changed or if it's just luck, but I also just got a map with 3 overworld steam geysers fairly close to one another.

Here's an idea. You can try and challenge yourself to make your colony completely self-sufficient, then set the game to fast forward and see how long they live on their own.
