is there any way to cure this diseases. Well im up for a challenge, but this diseases attacked my colonist early in the game, flu, plague etc. well theyre curable but this mini diseases, they look like it cant be cured. Also, does cleanliness affect the trigger of these disease events. because im cursed, i only have 3 cleaners out of 8 colonists

Same here.
I've got 2 colonists out of 5 with gutworms, medications are  almost gone because of it.
Funny thing is, gutworms are easy to get rid of in real life.

Looking at the code it seems like they just disappear eventually, but aren't treatable.

PotatoeTater

If colonists get worms you want to change them to herbal meds only, save the medkits for operations only.

Seems as if the medicine will not help at all, but they still will need treatment every day, the code should be changed so that we don't need to micro that fact. That is a big pain in the ass for a long time to have to swtich medicine on and off (on in the case of regular injury or treatable disease)

Man this KEEPS coming up. Ok here is how it works.

Worm take a number of treatments ( 8 ) before they vanish
mechanites are a buff while causing pain (small mood penalty), these disappear after a rather long length of time (we are talking seasons not days) meds will ease the pain to lower the mood penalty, if you think you can handle the mood penalty, forbid meds to them.

Hope that helps.
Skullywag modded to death.
I'd never met an iterator I liked....until Zhentar saved me.
Why Unity5, WHY do you forsake me?

And if you have competent doctors you should never need medkits for anything except limb replacement anyway.  Yay Xeri-root!
If you give an annoying colonist a parka before banishing him to the ice sheet you'll only get a -3 penalty instead of -5.

And don't forget that the pirates chasing a refugee are often better recruits than the refugee is.
