Setting Workbenches for Specific Colonists to work there

Hello sorry if its been posted before but this would be a huge game changer, il give you my example of its use.

I have 16 colonists needless to say its very hard to make enough lavish meals so I have a second colonist making a few fine meals for when the lavish run out. the problem is, 1 chef is a super bionic-ly enhanced system class master and the other once is just level 12 at cooking.

I would like an option to make my level 12 cook only work at my second cook stove with the fine meal bills, and vis versa with the other guy.

Agreed. I have a colonist who is a cannibal, who is also my cook and warden. I would like only her to only use the butchers table and stove that is in my prison. Any unwilling or unwanted prisoners get cut up on the table and made into food to feed her (that I keep in the corner of the prison). At the moment the only way to have this work is by having a small room attached to the prison (she is also an optimist so she doesn't mind sleeping in the cupboard) and keeping the entire building locked unless new prisoners are being brought in. That way no body else accidentally eats her food, or prepares the prisoners for mealtime.

It would be nice to have a psychopath do the cremating in the place of an always-busy master craftsman.

Might even be nice to have people cook their own meals in their own private kitchens.

I've found that it's kind of a problem where your better chef decides to do the fine meals while your lower level dude is just milling about jobless.

Annoying as it is, the easiest workaround for now is to have as many stoves as cooks, all with the same set of bills, and always have the top quality meals highest in the bill list.

This will ensure your cook makes the best quality meals they are capable of, and your gourmet chef isn't wasting his time on lower quality meals.

Just thought about this while looking at my colonists stats =P
cause they now have the percentage stuff for like every different crafting thing imaginable

Assigning the guy with highest mechanoid disassembling efficiency to or smelting yield to do those jobs instead of the guy who's best at chopping stones

And option to limit the worktable to only for this certain one
or let all work it would be fantastic
like it's totally optional but if you should want to, you could take your management to very nitpicky levels

Either this or have the Crafting job have subcategories you could prioritize in the overview

With the quality system Tynan is creating, it will be essential to be able to assign the right person to certain bills, so you are certain you get the best quality item from expensive/rare resources.

what i do: i set up three tasks per cooking table(from top to bottom)
- lavish meal
- fine meal
- simple meal

each of them has "until x units"

As a result, each cook starts cooking the meal he can do best and works the list down.
