How to take off parkas?

Might be a dumb question, I can't figure it out.

If I order the colonist to put on a t-shirt, they add but dont take off the parka.

Right now, all my colonists are hot.

go to the colonist equipment tab then right click on the item and drop!

After looking for a while, I finally figured it out. 

To those that don't know, Select Gear and right click parka and select drop.

It seems like I always find the answer right after I post a topic like this, but hopefully it helps others.

I always switch them out for dusters in the spring.

The duster not only looks bad-ass, it also keeps you cooler and provides some armor.

Then once November comes around, it's parka time.

So year-round I have a small stockpile dedicated to either parkas and/or dusters, one for each colonist, with critical priority so they're always there first.

Unless you're on an ice sheet like me, when it's -40.C in the summer and -80.C in December. Then it's parka, toque, and tribal wear all year round!
