But shitty colonists are part of the fun/challenge/FUN!

Very true; however, early on a dead weight really hurts and the debuff from executing them/selling them/letting them run into battle naked can hurt you a lot.

Well, ive had the complete opposite to me happening. I was TRYING and failing to recruit people and got one for free. The first thing he did was get beaten up by a squirrel, had to walk towards the other side off the map to get him. The next day he tried his luck again and promptly died.

Never was a colonist so properly named as poor ol' badluck....

Well, I find that a harvesting a lung and kidney from frail colonists and turning them into a cleaner/laborer works wonders.

Any frail/bad back colonists I have do work that needs little walking, such as cleaning, burning corpses, making stone bricks(gotta keep a supply of stone chunks near them though), growing, etc.

Abrasive colonists get a denture, then the said denture removed.

Really bad guys are tossed in prison so my warden can work on their social skills, or secretly killed where no colonist will be bothered by them, then the corpse taken care of by a bloodlust/sociopath colonist.
Physically sensitive sucks, but I don't get that much physic activity, and foil hats are great, so yeah.

But it would be really nice to have a 'exile' feature where you can kick out a colonist.

Why can't this be done that easily in a real life?  ::)

Wait... You mean to say that doing that actually revents them from giving the debuff? :|

My only issue was I got 4 people join me before even my 2nd raid,

Well, kinda hard to have a unpleasant conversation if one of you can't talk, right?
A colonist that can't talk has a reduced impact on mood changes they can give, so making them unable to talk has been how I took care of abrasive colonists all the time.

You could just get them killed off...? I mean, having the old bastards run off naked into the middle of a battle would be an easy way to get them killed off/ taken away
and would certainly distract the enemy. lols
Its not a battle unless some limbs are getting shot off!

rexx1888

tell ya what, im just curious as to why we dont get a random number of initial colonists between say 3 and 6 or something, some busted up. it always seems so convenient that three random pain in the neck colonists get off the ship... but only three... for every ship... it must be a conspiracy right O.o

Kegereneku

You are right. Rimworld is actually a gigantic gore reality-show where we send random people to fight for death on a conveniently Terraformed planet with fast seasons and easy construction.
Cassandra, Phoebe and Randy are judge who decide on what happen to them.

It all make sense.

"Sam Starfall left your colony with all your valuable"
