Recruit without warden?

So i'm playing the crash landing mod, long story short everyone's dead bar one guy who's incapable of social. So now i can't recruit anyone. My question is how the hell am i supposed to grow my colony?

All I can think of is the event where someone's running from pirates and they ask for refuge, but seems so infrequent and unlikely to happen. Is there any other ways of expanding? Btw i'm on Randy random.

You could make some money and buy a slave.

Fastest ways to make money would be
-Loot some tombs (high risk)
-Take down some raiders, sell them as slaves or organs

It'll be real tough but I think it's doable.

Haha, i saved two escape pod survivors before before realising i had no warden ability, nor doctor. So i basically just prolonged their deaths slightly

those are the ones, yes! they drop gold and so and slaves to sell =P
you'll just need a lot of turrets and traps if you're gna pop them with one guy

Lol, for some reason mine spawn with only one berserk guy and the rest are space marines who just let me arrest them. Occasionally I'll get mechs or megascarabs. Oh yeah, that's on RR Extreme.
