Heya folks, wanted to know how you guys felt about people updating outdated mods. So far I've been throwing updates into Nommy's old post for Roof Support. I threw a version up on steam, stating he was the author, with me being the current version updater. I've sent two PM's but he has been inactive since Jan 2015.

Originally, i've updated the mod for personal use up to A12, and then rewrote and added a few small things of my own for A14.

I've received a couple messages asking me to start up a new thread, and I'd like too, but I'm hesitant to do so because I haven't gotten a response back. If I throw up a new post, acknowledge him as the original mod author and that I am working on updating and adding things of my own. Would that fly?

His Licensing states
"Do what ever you like with it, just give credit where appropriate. Feel free to use it in mod packs without asking, I'd like to know if you do though (post here or PM, thanks)."

That basically sums it up.  Start a new thread and credit him as the original author.  If you already PM'd him then you've already satisfied that requirement.

Basically, you can do what you want with it.
