Non-Lethal Turrets!
The funny thing about shooting your enemies dozens of times in the face with lethal bullets is that, more often than not, it tends to kill them. This leaves all kinds of useless corpses lying around, creeping out your colonists and stinking up the place. Not only do these self-centered bastards pile their corpses at your doorstep for no good reason, but then they expect your colonists to take time out of their busy day just to bury them!

Wouldn't it be better if you could keep them alive so they could be talked into doing manual labor for you, or maybe just be used as punching bags to vent your frustration? Of course it would be!

And so I bring you: Non-Lethal Turrets!

Features:
Non-Lethal Turrets - They will pelt your enemies in the face with rubber bullets, to increase the chances of incapacitating them so they can be captured!
Non-Lethal Tech - This unlocks the Non-Lethal Turrets.

And also Tynan for being one of the most helpful devs ever. Seriously, how do you even find the time to work on the game when you spend so much time helping your modders on the forums?

Side Note: This is a pretty small mod, so I'm not getting all fancy with the release page. I'd rather spend that time working on my other (bigger) mod ideas. :P

One execution a day keeps the mental break away!
Click to see my steam. I'm a lazy modder who takes long breaks and everyone seems to hate.

Haha, oh man. Funny, but sadly true. Nothing keeps 'em in line like a decent chunk of fear. I was lucky enough to capture a tribal chief (along with six tribe members) this morning for work. Trying to decide how and when to go about his execution.

A question about the mod for Justin though: What's the specifics on the rounds? Are they best used alongside the colonist's firepower or just standalone outside the walls? I'm worried raiders will blow them up before they do enough damage to incapacitate.

These bullets work just like normal bullets in the game, except with a higher chance of incapacitating enemies. They should still incap enemies fine when mixed with other turrets or colonists, they just won't incap quite as many of them.

Honestly, I can't give you any strategic tips. When I was testing it, I only tested to see if it was working the way I wanted it to. I didn't really care about finding the most optimal way to use them, because the players are going to figure that out on their own anyway. I only cared that it was working. :P

Hey Justin I do so hope you can revisit this mod and maybe update it! It's one of my favorites! All in good time of course!

Justin C

Yeah, I'll redo this one tomorrow. I think this should be possible to accomplish through the XML alone now.

Evmeister

They're great for increasing your population if you got a good silver tongued warden. However I've learned they don't really stand up to Cassandra Classic when she starts sending huge waves of raiders. Great for Randy Random though.

Hey justin, I love you mod. I was wondering if you can also make non-lethal blasting charges? Like a flash-bang type of mine where it does very little damage and stuns the enemy for a few seconds. That would be awesome!
