Why no sale?

Why is every game on sale besides RimWorld?

Not every Steam game is on sale. Please don't try to support your point by exaggerating the truth.

Tynan has said on numerous occasions that the game will not be going on sale while it is still in development (ie. early access), and likely not for quite some time (as in years) after it is released. Here are two quotes from Tynan that I was able to quickly find regarding his position on this. (Both posts are a year old but I highly doubt his stance has changed since then).

"And I don't see any sales happening any time soon. I'm not a big fan of sales, especially on games that are still having content added at full speed (as with RW).

Of course it'll be on sale eventually, but that's probably years away."

Seems like the developer is a jew-ass bitch. I'll just keep pirating the game, no worries!

p.s. He could have made a fortune in sales, but now he gets shit on a stick! XD And everyone will pirate it, I will promote the pirating of this game from now on. Please let him know this. Thank you.

Getting RimWorld for $30 is a steal. It has more value that $60 AAA games these days. Kids like this have a rude awakening ahead of them in life.

All evidence suggests that Tynan is already doing absolutely fine in both sales and financial return. But all the same I thank you on his behalf for your Warren Buffett-esq financial advice.

There's no issue with anyone asking about/discussing sales etc. but if you create a new account /just/ to start throwing insults at Tynan then expect to be banned in the same way.
