My wife and I just came across these..as soon as I set it up ..viola it worked..no more lines running around the house or crappy routers!

PLC can be quite useful indeed, but can raise security question if you have an older electric installation, as someone from the same building could plug in your home network. However, this is not the case with newer electrical installation where digital circuit breakers make sure that no data is flowing out of your home.

Indeed, wise words Hypolite. I try to run a tight ship though, for the time being I'm stoked. We have had terrible Wi-Fi issues for the 8yrs that we have lived in this house. So we don't share much of anything out here with the neighbors..we as a family are 30-40 yrs younger than 80-90% of the nieghborhood..

Very inconsistent, usually going out when my projects/ wifes' needs, or our 15yr old needs it for a report or what-have-you.
