Maybe it is intended, but it sounds a little bit weird.

Or an ascetic pawn never could life together with other people, when he allways get upset about the other rooms.
So he can sleep on ground at his bedroom and eat raw potatos, but enjoy the comfortable armchairs at the TV room together with non-ascetic pawns.

In the concept of the game I understand. But it is strange.

I kind of agree it's a bit odd.

But you could make a case ascetics shouldn't enjoy lots of things.

Gotta keep the definition simple enough. They can still be happy inside a great rec room. But they don't feel it violates their beliefs because it's not theirs personally. Or something.

Anyway, I'll close it because it's sort of a maybe-micro-issue and there's lots of serious problems to address.
