Hashing out diplomacy between colonies, both ai and other players on the map would add end game viability. As well as adding more visitor/prisoner options. Multiplayer options would add spice to the game. Two colonies on the same map both fighting raiders and each other... that'd make for an interesting game.

Raids escalate over time, so maybe as a stopgap solution, why not have a reset button for the raids, so after 6 years you can default it back to year 0 and keep going.  I know its a cheap hack to the game and not a solution but it would let people keep playing as long as they want for now until a more elegant solution is made.

Is there a line in the save file we can edit for it?  Id prefer a vanilla option so it doesnt get in the way of testing but a line edit can work if Tynan doesnt want to implement a button.

If the goal is strictly base building without events, isn't it possible to achieve this via story teller and difficulty options?

raids still escalate, just smaller, but that would be the screen id stick the reset button.
