There is mod but I think it will be cool if it's on core mod.

how about there is button for showing roof?
it will be cool If i can see my building with roofs sometimes

how about swimming pawn hide it's body?
It maybe looks like swimming under water.
and I think some skills about swimming will be nice.

how about water pump(I don't know what it calls in english) collect water and spread it later(where you want to make water pound

Everytime I start new game, I need so many time for selecting nice pawns starting position, even river, road, climate, ETC....
So I think some kind of random challenge option is needed.
It's same concept with disable development mod or permadeath option.
It make everything simple.
but there is problem if you must move soon to other map when it started. so only randomize pawn selection or make random start position in not critical place.

How about players can type name of statue and it's detail before make statue. or select topic for statue at least

I think item collecting is one of the most funny thing on rimworld.
so I wish there is more of them.
something make pawns happy and too rare to find.
very few caravans have these items.
so we can search towns and towns, or wait caravans for the rare items
there is many ideas

radio, picture, super heater, computer, rare statue,

these things can harm gameplay balance but if it's super rare, I think it's ok! (like chemfuel generator!)

rimworld is so cool game. as you know that there is no other 'rimworldlike' game. so... I wish rimworld is more and more funny. there is nice modders but I think more things can do!

there is no alternative game of it.
I wish there is 1.1 and 1.2 of rimworld.

I think fence is good idea in these conditions
- can not build more than 2x2 size because it's weired!
- cheaper than wall
- pawns can walk over it very slowly
- pawns can shoot from inside and outside
- wildlife animals can not pass
I really really want to see these fence in vanilla rimworpd!

as you know that gray thing only used for one machine.
I wish it make some bonus for working speed wheen it installed next work bench

washing machine - Make dead mans clothes clean. (but cause damages on clothes)
3d printer - make things by automatically
radio - quest chanse increase or make fun
air conditioner - rimworld's is too big
etc! sorry for bad english
