Ideas / Pause on dangerous event

There are times that a lot of cleaning or hauling needs to be done before you can really keep playing the game, during these times I like to walk away to grab a drink or something to eat but if I pause it, it would just take more time to get back to the point where I can play again, but if I don't a raid or a single mad animal can just come over and wreck my colony. Also please let me manually go back to 3 times speed during fights if I so wish, its so annoying not being able to.

Mods / Mod request roads

Something that doesn't cost resources and doesn't add to beauty level to balance it out. Currently to make roads wood is the easiest to come by and it still takes a ridiculous amount to really be worth time building. Even something like a dirt road would be fine but I cant use the current  soil mods because grass and things would grow on it.

I would like to have something that would show me the areas my pawns walk the most so that I can build roads. Currently if I build a random road to a far away mine they still wont necessarily take it just because walking off the road would be faster.

General Discussion / Sound stopped working

Hey guys took a break from rimworld for a while and when I came back the sound wouldn't play. Since it wasn't working decided I would upgrade to the current patch so uninstalled all mods, deleted old rimworld, installed new one, but the sound is still gone. Any suggestions?

Currently I do not like the way colonists just randomly die. I have times where colonists can take 30 bullets before kneeling over needed to be saved and other times that exact same colonist takes a single shot to the leg and it kills him. This could possibly happen in real life but this is a game and anything other then my hp reaching 0 or a shot to the heart or brain should not just randomly kill me.

What happened to it? Sometimes it was just more convenient to click on it, then to try and find it on the left bar. Now I cant find the button though.

I've tried taming it with a 9 and 12 handling skill pawn but both of them say 0% chance.

Man I wish I knew that before making a new game. Has made my food situation pretty bad for the beginning of the game.

My animals can open doors just fine however once I set a master and enlist said master the animal takes a long time to open doors.

Currently green thumb is a useless trait neither good nor bad. When given to someone who doesn't care to learn plant work or doesn't have a high plant work skill its just ignored. To fix this I think making it so green thumb increases crop growth rate for the crops that someone with green thumb plants, or let them harvest more from the crop (8 potatoes instead of 6). This way even if they have a bad growing skill or don't really care to learn it's still a nice perk which was the intention.

Is it possible that you will be accepting backstory and name creations from people who have not payed to for it? If so where would one go to post such ideas, I wouldn't think you would want the suggestions forums spammed with them.

Ideas / Manual priority presets

There comes a point in the game where you have 8+ people and have to deal with raids of 30+ people. Now you want to sell off the gear that they dropped since a trade ship just past by. To do this you have to go into priorities and set everyone to hauling 1 while removing everything else. You have to do this every time if you want to get everything sold in time. I would like to just click "load preset" so that I don't have to manually set them all to hauling 1 and then when they are finished have to reset their priorities again.

Looking for someone to mod in something to cool my colonists down that doesn't take power. I would like it to be realistic and be able to work with superior crafting. I am wanting to do a tribal play through but currently if a heat wave hits I have no possibility of survival.

I'm sure its been posted before but after playing this game for some time I'm getting very annoyed that I cant set the speed to 3x during a fight. I love how it slows down when a fight happens so I know when something happened but I just cant stand being forced to play at normal speed during an easy fight that will take 5 minutes.

Mods / Mod request: fog of war

Would love for someone to add fog of war to the game so you can see where the best place to set up camp is until you explore the map. The developer mod fog doesn't go away when you walk into it so I can use that.

Support / Black screen help

I tried installing a bunch of mods and got a black screen, I've had this problem before and removing the mod from the mod folder that caused it always solved the problem. Now however its still black and the only folder in the mod folder is core. I've even tried reinstalling the game but I cant get it to work. Anyone have a solution?

I have A11 but I dont know where to go download A11b. I went to the email for the download but it still says I only have 6 downloads left which would mean that the file is for A11 and not A11b. Where to I go to get the next verion?
