add a timer ability for electronic devices.  like the work schedule we have already, or like the teacher schedule available in the leadership mod.  let us automate either individual components or, if that's too OP, then at least let switches be timed and leave it to the players to build complex wiring or not.
I second this, to expand on this suggestion:
Let us add "bills" to things like lamps, sun lamps and any other electrical devices. They essentially tell pawns when to switch them on and off.

Agreed, I have fixed the timetable for many days, and to save energy trying to switch off lamps at right time, but with the schedule bill it would be much more time-efficient.

"Alright boys and girls it's time to leave this shithole!"

"What about our dogs?"

"Ah beat the shit out of them and stick them in pods."

I didn't think that was the way my colony would pan out but hey.

Lmao good ending. *Writing it down*

Make all starter animals start with obedience, make starter animals for rich explorers start 100% trained (I figure a rich person could afford an expertly trained dog)

My mod came with 2 dogs I trained them in 12 days to max. In an easy pushup mod it could be great, since wild animals take longer time later.

I agree it's disgusting, but there are ways to guarantee downing without injuries: malnutrition, heatstroke (better than frostbite because no limbs are lost). Operations (anaesthetics), administer certain chemicals.

Chemicals? Lmao, later you get a Hulk Rabbit  ;D

Currently there is really few animals and i think animals are one of hotspots of this game, so I suggest to put more animals to game. Riding a wild horse, anyone?

Good idea, I got a rabbit farm (not for meals, for joy) and leaving them somewhere deserted place isn't nice. Hoping it to get into game.

You.. ...underestimate my pain tolerance. I could take a taste.

Granted, but to get it, you must get it installed as a golden tooth, then yank it out without anesthesia. Your dental care for this is free, mind you, but you must pluck out every tooth to get all the gold.

I wish they would reboot x-com ufo defense and NOT have the mechanics watered down like in xcom 2012. Seriously guys, the original was better =(

Granted (theoretically), but the new system moves like Resident Evil in 10FPS

I wish that oceans would vaporize and create more rivers in other places.

Can you freeze them instead of burning them?
Have wandered that like over months, cause I havent inhabited cold areas, and I have never tried that, only once they got into my fridge expansion, what was around 0...-1c and I didnt see no slowing effect. Probably douches need something over 40 like with heat.

I wish the Hell Apartment would burn up. Without me in it.

Granted! You get out of your flat and wander into a mall, where a huge fire breaks down and you get grilled in a toilet.

I wish that people could get to Mars in next year

2. Captured a tribesman named purple. He chilled in prison for a bit, and then broke out and escaped. Left him bleeding out as he ran. 2 Days later I get raided. Guess who's leading them!? Purple is back! The bastard told everybody where I was and wanted revenge! First shot of the fight goes off from my sniper and Purple is killed. Should've joined me, he could have lived a wonderful life hauling steel and potatoes for the rest of his days.

The same shite happened to me in other context, later on a crashlanded band that I couldn't keep from wandering away (I cured 2) went somewhere far, later on their leader (a female ninja...) started a raid against me. Quite funny as our colony wanted only to cure and help and then she gathered a vendetta (maybe something back from space life times). I had only 4 people and also 4 was the raid size but luckily my people were steady-handed and I left no chance to them. Also got back one of her equipment pieces I gave her before, my lucky pistol.

You can't blame it as mistake, this is still sci-fi and very random. I got these cases loads of times, haven't found them disturbing.

i have a huge colony of wild bugs at an entrance. They deal with any raid.

It's even better than tamed bugs: they auro regen, you don't have to feed them, and since they don't form bonds you don't care when they're killed.

Interesting, and I am still muddling with bears. The problem is I never wanted to take care of em when my people have handicapped them so I guess it involves a huge risk.

So basically you are saying that in the base scenario. The ship blew up not because of 'unknown' reasons, but someone was trying to stop us from spreading and infecting the galaxy?
With regards to the tribals, maybe they saw our tribe rejecting the culture and traditions and expelled us...

This idea is creepy, and definitely needs expanding and depth.

Thats the idea of the game that hasnt been carried out yet, the Gods interference and more divine powers blah-blah-blah. Wouldn't think though that force-camping is helping to build up. For me it is always around 90% fail rate, no matter how I prison them (not a huge fan of torturing, I take this game as life). Also I have seen numerous colonists (well landers or marauders) not staying but rather accepting with their certain death in starvation/wounds/breakdown in wilderness. I must say I love this point about this game but something isn't right about it.
