Hello Folks,

Because of the latest patch, I can't play my current game. I've already reset back to version 1-. I validated the Steam files.

The update broke my game, in other words...even reverting back to v 1 doesn't help.

It brings up my game but I can't move the map, and all my colonists are gone.

I use mods, but they never have been a problem and I been playing the current game for a long time...

Any ideas?

When you loaded your modded 1.0 save in 1.1, did you, by any chance, save the game?

Hello Tobi,

Good question, and I thought about this.

I have tried to do both "Load mod list from save" and "Load anyway", in the latest and some previous saves.

It doesn't work...

johnyoga,
to update a current modded game to a new rimworld version is allways a BAD idea.
Maybe not all mod's you used before are updated to 1.1.

If you still got a safegame which is made with 1.0 you should be able to load and play it. Just be sure you have 1.0 installed and all 1.0 mods you need for that safegame.
Mod's that are flagged for 1.1/1.0 works too, but you just geting a packageID error each mod, you can ignore.

Canute,

I didn't do what you had mentioned (load old game into version 1.1), because, of course, the mods aren't updated yet.

Since I am getting no solutions (thanks anyway) this means something broke my game.

I simply take this as a small inconvenience and starting a new game in 1.
