Actual cannibal shia labeouf.

Listen1, you left out one important detail:

4. Kills all vegetation on the map

If you normally play on desert or tundra maps you won't notice the difference.  But if you were playing on a forest map and planning to rely on trees for building material, cash, and cover in running firefights this could be a real pain in the ass.

The event wouldn't be so bad if trees responded to it like a winter -- losing their foliage and stopping growing, then resuming growth when the event is over.
If you give an annoying colonist a parka before banishing him to the ice sheet you'll only get a -3 penalty instead of -5.

And don't forget that the pirates chasing a refugee are often better recruits than the refugee is.

Mossy piglet

Shurp, you mentioned using trees as cover. Actually, the only plant that is cover is the saguaro cactus.
Tardigrades are superior to all other life forms in every way.

Ps I secretly am one I am the king of their civilization.

If that is true,  that is a massive bug,  trees should definitely give cover.
Why to people worry about following their heart? Its lodged in your chest, you won't accidentally leave it behind.

Its bad because reasons, and if you don't know the reasons, you are horrible. You cannot ask what the reasons are or else you doubt it. But the reasons are irrefutable. Logic.

Listen1

Yeah, forgot about that.

Thanks Shurp.

Also, this may be a fix that's coming. March is coming.

Reminds me of shots going through walls because "misses"  don't check if a wall is blocking the destination. (fire at a wall,  you will notice occasionally shots go through)

I guess this update will make cover more important too.

my Dwarf Mountain Fortress is able to survive endless TF, I got piles of big animal corpses in a freezer, massive corn stockpile (21k), hydroponics all over the place, alpaca pen, everything all protected.  the main trade beacon is just in front of the door so if i need to buy things i can quickly grab and haul.  enough joy things that cabin fever isnt a big issue.  (also got booze)  also got a small artillery park for dealing with any sieges.
