Not sure what I'm doing, I just got the game a couple days ago, and played it the first day I got it, It worked fine, the next day, error log.
My thoughts, oh, tis but a bug thing, no biggy.
Tries it 20 more times.  Okay, maybe not a bug.  Finally I did something and it worked for the night.  Now that I'm bout to play it again, it doesn't work again.  Can anybody help?
I've included all three things in the folder, hopefully this helps

From my first impression it looks like something went wrong with your files.
I just don't know why it worked for a day and then no more..

First I would recommend for you to check the file integrity.
This you can do if you go in steam to RimWorld, right-click it and into properties.
I'm not sure right now exacltly what it's named (not at home atm.), but there should be an entry for 'Check file integrity' or something similiar there. This will check your files and reload missing files.

Edit: You can also try if this approach will work:

similar problem here.
Logs attached

EDIT: Got it working again. Went into my C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios folder and deleted everything except the configs and saves.
Can now play again.

Nah haplo, the error log show
Quoted3d: creation params: flags=44 swap=1 vsync=80000000 w=302 h=193 fmt=21 bbcount=1 dsformat=75 pflags=0
d3d: failed to create device [queried technique not available]
Crash!!!
That mean, rimworld can't open the grafic device. That is different from the one you quote.

I think it has something to do with some grafic driver update and/or windows update previously.
Someone else reported similar problems, but he said he allready reinstalled newest directx and grafic driver but that didn't fix the problem.
So i don't got a solution.

But i just got an idea, people said that only happen to Rimworld and other games run's fine.
Maybe a bad registry key.
Open regedit
use the search function and search for "Ludeon"
You will find "Ludeon Studios" with one or 2 entries of Rimworld
Just right click at "Ludeon Studios" and delete it, then close regedit.
Rimworld should recreate them on the next start.

Huh, I'll see if it works.  I hope it works tbh

Tried deleting everything except saves and configs, however no dice (and I literally had to only delete one file--scenarios).  Going to try graphics card and see if that's the issue

Got it working after updating Graphics card.  Thanks yall
