Why is there no stickied topic to tell modders how to update their mods?

I can't even begin to make any of my mods compatible (well not quickly at least) when I don't know what needs fixing. Why is there no topic for modders letting them know what big things have been changed? It's just baffling I can't find one anywhere.

Hi, my name is Matthias and I am a Rimworld Addict. It has been five seconds since my last fix...

will this help?
That was a test build so I can't even be sure the changes stuck. THe first post is helpful as is another post or 2, but there's little there and it's not organised at all.

So thanks but, I need to convert an entire mod over to A9. I need more info than that.

The easiest would be to tell us the problems you can't figure out yourself. Then we can try to help you fixing it.
Without any Info it's a bit hard to provide help :)
(And no, there isn't a list of changes anywhere. We always have to figure out what was changed how.)

HealthDiffDefs changing in name completely to HediffDefs both in filename and code really messed me up. But it was a case of just renaming everything.

The other topic mentioned the skillgain change and I sorted that too.

And looking at the core code told me how to change the medicine cost to accept all types.

So basically, this wasn't as hard as it first looked. It was very slow and monotonous though repeatedly trying new things. I'm really glad there weren't too many big changes.

There is a lovely and very customizable program that can help a lot when checking out for differences. It is called WinMerge and it's free. It even supports XML syntax. I am linking the screenshots of my settings below, as they make a huge difference in the interpretation of the contents.
