I have several peasant colonists that take to meditating or praying in their shoddy wooden huts, since the glorious plasteel horshoe courts, chess and card tables, and art galleries are in the lavish and wealthy district. (Shout out to CurpoPanda)

This afternoon, after giving another peasant a nasty beating for being "joy deprived" and "berserk", I suddenly had the idea that wouldn't it be great to distract these wretches with some good ol' fashioned hope?

Perhaps a Cross sculpture made of Jade? With some comfy marble pews to sit in? Maybe some muffalo floor mats for worshipping?

It's no secret that the gods might be turning a bit of a blind eye on the Rim, but some of these colonists (and slaves) have faith!

Anybody up to the task?

This is a really good idea... to add to it though. An entire Pantheon would be cool. You could choose to worship gods/goddesses that provide buffs/debuffs, require sacrifices, etc.

Expanding on this would be great, and I've just checked out the Pastafarian mod. However, I was hoping to use existing code for sculptures and gather areas in a small vanilla friendly mod.

Maybe the code for TV also could be used?  It is essentially an activity where the pawn just sit or stand somewhere until the joy meter rise up....
