Cannot load save

For some weird reason I can no longer load the saves of my latest campaign. It worked the day before, and I haven't crashed, everything was working perfectly when I saved and quit the game, but today I tried the regular save, I tried all three of the autosaves, I still got zilch as the save simply refused to load.

I tried to add a few mods before that, specifically WorkTab, GiddyUp, GiddyUp Caravans, Refugee Stats and Set-Up Camps, but after they refused to load for the first time I immediately removed them.

I tried to fix it by removing the most obvious error, the "this pawn is a child of a null pawn" error, but it obviously didn't work.

I expect that I might have screwed something up by installing new mods, trying to load the save and then removing them, but then why do the autosaves also refuse to load?

Later: Additional question. If the save is unrecoverable, could anybody help me find the current state of my colonists, so that I'd be able to recreate them in their current state to recreate them in Prepare Carefully and continue that way? Spent the last half an hour sifting through the save file trying to find them, but the only mentions of my pawns as I can find them are in the Tales category.

It seems like something caused all of the colonists to vanish from the save file.

Okay. Another campaign, another crash. It appears like it's the same damn error, including the lack of any colonists in the save files. What the hell?

Same modlist lead soon or later to the same error.

You should try to eleminate the error you got on Rimworld startup at last (Red messages, if you can eliminate yellow one good, but not that important).

You have alot of XML errors, maybe a mod is installed wrong.
Take a part of the xml error message and search inside the mods folder.
Window's explorer got these search box at the top right side you can use.

When even the english content can't be loaded, i would delete the mod and reinstal it again. In this case unsubscribe so it get deleted and resubsribe.

"Config error in AvaliSightAugment: "
Avali race mod, not sure if this is an error in the mod itself, or the config file.
Check the config folder (same area where you safegames are stored) and look of an Avali config, delete it.
If there isn't any, then the mod itself you should avoid until it got an update.

"Could not resolve reference to object with loadID"
ton's of these error/warning i think they come from WorkTab, but i don't know why they are created. I don't have this kind of messages with my WorkTab. So i think trouble with some other mod.

- I have no expierence with Multiplayer Phi, maybe deactivate it. At the last error msg. was an error that it couldn't connect to the server.

I've read up that Hospitality, More Trade Ships and PhiClient have caused similar problems for other people. Maybe these mods just can't handle a larger than usual amount of other mods? Dunno, but everything's working now.
