[1.0] Pawns and doors [Please fix ASAP]

Okay, I haven't tried to replicate the bug til now.  PLEASE do not tell me this is somehow intended...  There are several pawns trying to enter the room but they're blocked, and I can't tell what's really blocking them.  Needs fixing ASAP cause I come across this situation more often than I'd like, and puts my pawns in dangerous situations.

1x1 door's was even before 1.0 a bottleneck.
And normaly only 1 pawn can stay at one tile. So when a pawn stay right before the door he will block them 100% for enemies, and maybe now for friends too.
You shouldn't park them right before the door anymore like before (i did that myself too) you need to keep these tile free now, so your pawn's can pass them more freely.

I didn't play b18 all too much, but I do know I would have noticed that if it was just as common as it is in 1.0.  Also wanting to claim the bug was in b18 really means it should be fixed by now. Think I misread your post.

If your colonists is standing at a door then it's expected to block the enemies at the door since they'll engage in melee or range. Your colonist blocking other colonists makes no sense. I don't care so much if the pawns slingshot through the door even tho it's strange, but when they can't enter the room and just sit there the whole time? That's not acceptable.  I could argue that taking another route is not acceptable.

That bug can literally end your game and I shouldn't have to play around it.  I also know it's not intended as they can normally enter through the room without a problem plus it's inconsistent. In the save file: I destroyed some enemies, suddenly pawns can get inside the room.  A pawn trying to get inside the room gets downed, pawns can suddenly go into the room even the pawn standing at door is still there. No sense at all to conclude as intended game mechanics (I'm not implying that you said it was intended)

Without a word from a dev, we can't say if this is intended or bug/glitch.
But from my side, i can live with it, if i know that a pawn/animal stay before the door it would block it.
But you are right too.
On most frequently doors it would come to jam's if pawn's would block each other.
They need to need to pass other pawn's tile at slower speed, but they need to be able to pass.

In his case, he was trying to flee. In yours, you are trying to go through so it reacts differently.
I will never do worse than what I do now.

Another Example:



No doors this time. Taz, Wolf and Zippy can't go past all the pawns with firearms. You can click multiple times and change their location but they still can't get through in my experience.

I've noticed it's quite easy to reproduce this bug. It usually kicks in when a pawn who is blocking their way starts to engage in combat.  Still not sure if it there's more to it than that.  I'll try to post more save files if I come across any that are unique than the previous ones.  I really don't want to see this in 1.0 and deal with it for months.

Please tackle this bug before the official release!
I know these examples may come off as "oh that won't really happen in a normal game, who lines their pawns like that?" but I'm just trying reproduce.  I've encountered this issue several times without trying cheesy shit in a normal game.  It's easy to say "just move the pawn blocking the way" but realistically the damage is already done before you notice.  Not to mention battles spread out throughout the map.. Just saying this is no minor bug to me.

Players will notice at some point, especially ones who do lots of micro to keep a close eye, and those who blob their pawns in tight spaces while trying to move others past them.
