BLACK SCREEN ISSUE CAUSE (probably)

I now own the steam version of the game.
So everytime I download a mod, I edit something in the mod folder. (e.g. modnames are numbers in mod folder so I change them into their respective mod names or add an empty bmp image in the abouts folder renamed to their respective mod name for easy searching in case I want to edit mod xml ).
I got a blackscreen out of nowhere and followed the instructions posted to solve the issue. I looked upon my save and noticed that the modlist was based on the folder name(which are numbers) followed by the mod name(so I think, I broke the game by changing the numbers to actual modnames). I unsubscribed from the tons of mods I had, uninstalled and re-installed the game and painstakingly installed the mods again (works). Then after reinstalling all mod again, I added an empty bmp file in the abouts folder renamed to the actual modname to avoid editing the numbers (there should be no problem, right? there are tons of png's there and I dont know how an empty bmp file would hurt). And another blackscreen broke out (Like what the F!!!). I haven't played a single game after the first black screen broke out, then here comes another one.
I dont want to unsubscribe from the mods in steam cause that would lose all my patience just typing, searching and subscribing every single mod I need to continue my save.
Any solutions?

Additional Info: I can run the GOG version without the blackscreen.

QuoteI added an empty bmp file
I am not an expert with that.
But how the bmp is empty, maybe you should made a different way to made it empty.
And all the pic's at the About folder are allways .png not .bmp maybe this made a different too.

And btw. there is still no GOG version of Rimworld.
