Shuttle attack missions description is confusing

It always says "X is planning an attack on Y and wants you to send Z pawns". From this description I understand that it wants to attack with HIS pawns and wants me to SUPPORT his pawns... In fact, having played like 10 of these missions, I still have doubts that if I wait enough an attack party will actually show...

It should say "X asks you to attack Y".
