Hello, I'm looking for someone with C# knowledge to create a mod that produces tanks.



I will do all the texture work, ready to also do most if not all of the .xml.

The problem is, I don't know where to begin with C#, I'm willing to pay the coder with little money I have if that's what they want, but if you don't accept money I can trade art for help.


The idea is to take parts from ChJees' android mod in terms of pawn production, but with tanks, made from the game's mechanoid race instead of colonists.

bullet points of what the features should be:

- Produceable tanks (Mechanoid-like, just reskins with custom weapons)
- tanks can be drafted
- tanks can be taken for caravan trips
- tanks will not show up as colonists
- tanks will be produced with a weapon connected to their tags so they do not get produced unarmed
- Will not be using any vehicles mod or race mod as base
- Instead of medicine, the tanks are repaired using construction stat, same as how walls are repaired

Bugs / (B18) Colonist died debuff, even after resurrected

Hello, I'm sure this is more of a feature that isn't implemented instead of a bug, but I find it unreasonable that there is no happiness buff for a resurrected colonist, but we get multiple debuffs for the same person dying.

I don't know about you, but if someone I'm close to dies and there happens to be a product lying around that can bring them back to life, I'll be a lot happier than I am sad that they died in the first place

Skeleton army with swords and shields that have their own custom raid notification sound (spooky scary skeletons pls) because Rimworld is not spoopy enough with the lack of skeletons

I originally thought I could do this, but I cannot because lack of skills and time, rip, I will just leave this here.

Also suggest the vanilla skeleton because they look spooky:

Bugs / (A17) Prisoner taken to bed infinite times

How to reproduce:

- Have a prisoner preferably with an addiction
- When prisoner has a "psychotic wandering" state mental break from withdrawals, wardens will try to feed or take to bed when the prisoner needs food or sleep, but because of the mental break, prisoner won't sleep or eat and so the warden will end up constantly putting them to bed or walk back and forth into the prison room.

Hello, I have a bunch of chickens I slaughtered, but upon prioritizing the slaughter action, it ended up giving my colonist a debuff.

How to replicate:

- Slaughter animal
- do not wait till colonist does automatically, force it
- Get "killed colony animal" debuff

update: Just to clarify, this is not a mood debuff, I am talking about the negative social effect from other colonists, apologies for not wording it better

This is now solved, special thanks to Sam for his OC Tank coding that made this whole thing stop, the fix required me having to edit the shutdownmechanoid operation into it's own thing along with changing the thinktreedef and fleshtype since it seems other things relating to mechanoid made the AGR a mechanoid.

Hello, I made this AGR for a faction, and it won't stop spawning with mechanoids on ancient danger sites and psychic ships, I have made it's own race but it still goes on and spawns with those pesky centipedes.

Help / A button that triggers events

Hello all, most likely going to be kap'n kav reading as always  8) 8) 8) if not, hello anyway

I am wondering if it requires C# to have a mod that adds a new button that can trigger a specific event (similar to dev mode buttons)

For example, the button will be a manhunter raid button, ready to be called anytime by the player, while also having a 3 day cooldown, is this kind of thing easy to make? Please lemme know, cheerio

Edit: I'm gonna rephrase my question, how do I go about doing this? I remember from an old thread regarding adding buttons, Skully mentioned adding comps. An example of coding would be super mega appreciated with chickens.
