Bug- Corrupted saves Ver0.2.363

Thread Topic- Save games not loading.

Version Found- Ver0.2.363

Summary- I think it happens after I close the game and try to get back on. I'll attempt to load a saved game(mind you no mods, on vanilla) and the screen goes all rainbowy and sometimes a wall of errors come up others nothing and it's like stuff halfway between game and loading because loading is in middle of screen but architech tab is in the left corner as usual then I can't click anything and am forced to end process via task manager.

Steps to reproduce- Load Rimworld, load game.

Expected results- My game to load.

Actual results- game essentially crashes.

Notes- The odd thing is I can still load these saves. I just have to load the game back up and keep trying but it will work eventually and I can play like nothing happened so it doesn't destroy my saves but it's an odd occurrence.

That's it, any help or reports of similar occurrences welcome. I can take a picture if you'd like I didn't because when I tried to get it to happen this time it didn't next time it occurs I'll take a pic.

Please post both the saved game that has this problem, as well as the output_log.txt file that is generated after this occurs. The saved games can be found by clicking on 'Options', then on 'Open savegame/data folder'. The output_log.txt file is found in \RimWorld363Win_Data\

You'll need to zip them up as they might be too large to post here. If they are still too large even after zipping, upload them somewhere (I use MediaFire) and post the download link here.

I also just hit this bug, after attempting to load a game I had been playing earlier. Vanilla 363 on OSX. It fails to load my regular save as well as the all the autosaves I've tried. The only possibly unusual thing about this game is that I have more than 16 colonists. (I don't actually know if that's a restriction or not, but I noticed I couldn't arrest any more than 16, though the game kept giving me more colonists via events.)

Looks like it's not clearing the buffer when it draws; I assume the exceptions are making it abort early?

I can't seem to find the output log file... I'll keep grepping and update when I've posted it.

I got this bug too. With mods, but I didn�t change anything between exiting game, and reloading.
The same mods, the same saves.
I loaded them up;

@karantza: Has the game done that to any other saves where you've had more than 16 colonists, or just that one save?

@Hexxagon: You'll need to post your ModsConfig.xml file (found in the RimWorld Data Folder, use the Options menu in-game to find it.), as the order in which mods were loaded is important, as the game does not currently prevent mods from conflicting with each other.
If two mods change the same thing, the last one loaded takes priority, which is dependant on the order in which they were activated.

Hi there. First post and straight to the error subforum ;-)

I can confirm the problem. This is my first playthrough and I have a issue with missing hole for one of my geothermal generators.
