Second colony map is much smaller than first one. Is there a way to fix that?

As the title, my first colony has enough map space that I can't fit it all on my screen, but the second colony I just settled has a map that I can do so with easily. There weren't any options popping up when I hit "Settle" to change that either, advanced or otherwise. Is there a way to change this at all, or even influence it before settling?

So when you resettle you can't pick map size? The tribal playthrough seems a natural fit to travel to the friendly ai. I wanted to try it out, but I normally play with the larger medium map.

With Set-Up camp you can alter the camp's size, although I cannot remember the maximums. You can make a camp "permanent" so that it is virtually the same as having a second colony.

Canute

300 for setup camp temporary maps.

But at these temporary maps you don't have events so far i know.
