How did you find out about Rimworld? Now a poll.

I found out rimworld from yogscast sips, he played it like 2 years ago, a couple months back I also saw kage848 playing and decided to buy the game.

I can say, I saw the kick starter from the beginning and thought it was very interesting. Little rough at first but after the first 3 updates I decided I needed to back it. I can say I'm glad to be a pirate king backer and I look forward to what will come.

Went through the post real quick and I'm apparently the only one coming from Sacriel.
This is surprising to me as he's the (one of the) biggest streamer (to my knowledge) that stream Rimworld from time to time.

I found out about it through a gaming humor page on FB. Someone had a pregnant male colonist. Why that made me buy the game I'll never know.

Saw it mentioned on Steam in relation to another (forgotten and subpar) game, Googled it.

Sacriel on Twitch. I had been a watcher due to his DayZ content and one day I turn on to his stream and he's playing RW. Thought it looked interesting so I continued. Few hours later I bought the game and spent probably 2-3 days of playing it like 12 hours a day.

It was really interesting because when I was considering whether to purchase or not, I had a bit of difficulty. I really was interested in the game but this was a few Alpha's ago and I thought $30 for a game this early is a bit steep. I didn't want to get burned by it but I said screw it, and bought it anyway. Year later and still agree that I made the right call and the $30 was so worth it.

If only I could see how many hours I have.
