Downloading mod.

I just wanted to start a A17 colony with new mods and notice how painful it is to click through 10 pages from releases and open each topic to look for the description and download link.
Yeah you need to open each topic by it's own since many modder put all their mods into a single topic. Basicly a good idea except you search for a mod, but thats not the problem.

My idea are, a fixed download link for his mod for a RW release.
That should be possible, each hoster support it that you can replace files, so the link shouldn't change.
Then we gather all these links in one topic, and user just need to put the topic link , or copy&paste the links from there in their download tool.
Yes, you will get more mods then you actualy want, but since most of the mods don't even got a megabyte of data, and even when they got a few MB at the time you download gigabytes of data to watch movies or other things, it don't realy matter much.

And since the download links don't change these single topic don't need much maintance like the database someone tryed to made shortly before.
Ofcourse we need a solution for archives they just got attached to a topic.

Using github there is a "latest released version" link that always point to the latest version.

I feel ya, man. An easier way to get the latest versions of mods and not have to click around a lot is to go to NexusMods. Some people (like Fluffy) don't put their mods on Nexus, some people (like me) don't put them on Steam, some probably don't put them here on the forums. Keep in mind that u can't get them all from one source, but here's a link to NexusMods Rimworld mods:

Nexus is very underused, filtering for past month returns in no new mods.
