Why would you need advanced technology as tribals? Just use greatbows, and keep your colony value low, you'll be fine. Create interesting traps and chokepoints and there won't be much in the way of issues (keep combat capable tribals high however, like, at least 70% of your colony).

...I know who the original poster is, I would like _anyone_ who has this bug, to post a save, so that if Tynan does by chance decide to read this post, he can actually look at it instead of go "ok, what am I meant to do with this information".

derped, you might have had an impact if you were here before the "release", but as it stands I doubt Tynan will be implementing a lot of changes. He spent many years developing this and I'm guessing he'll only do gamebreaking/tedious bugs unless he finds free time.

The main reason for "large" maps being problematic is balancing it with AI pathing.

Basically the bigger the map is the more retarded your AI gets.

He's playing on some easy mode giving them big rooms probably. Either way your answer doesn't do anything for him, since it's about power consumption not about whether a cooler per room being overkill.

When toggled to off they do not consume power. Your heaters, however, will draw more power in winter...

He means that their objective shouldn't be murdering you, but obtaining your wealth when possible.

It would make sense, because then you could feasibly leave tribute to raiders and not involve yourself with being murdered, allowing a different playstyle -- except for where scythers are involved.
